Association Tunisienne de L’Action Culturelle (ATAC) is a socio-cultural organisation which advocates a peaceful culture by working to overcome misunderstanding and stereotypes that affect relations between and within societies in Tunisia. It provides recommendations for policymakers and institutions for the development of an intercultural strategy in the region. It was founded on 11 February 2011.
ATAC recognises that cultural inertia is an obstacle to the socio-economic integration of young people into the workforce, but that inaction can be dealt with by encouraging young people to engage in different areas by promoting access to culture for all, promote access to leisure, and raise awareness of basic rights. ATAC works in the following fields of activity:

Objectives
- To support cultural action
- Establish an alternative culture of citizenship and human rights
- Ensuring the right of access to leisure and culture for all social categories
- Defending the freedom of creation, thinking and expression.
Activities
- Discuss with other organisation to benefit from their experience
- Try to make joint statements with other NGOs in solidarity
- Make contacts and network in the field
- Transmit reports to the organisations and share information with those who might be interested
- Organize and conduct joint activities
ATAC's partners include 34 NGOs, and public and international background institutions. Beneficiaries of ATAC's work include children, youth and women.
