The Bridgeway Group promotes the effective, sustainable, and non-violent management of social and community conflict.
Last updated: يناير 2018

Founded in 2005, the Bridgeway Group works in partnership with parties in conflict-affected areas and regions in the US and throughout the world to provide long-term capacity building for the effective, sustainable, and non-violent management of social and community conflict. We are especially committed to supporting parties in under-resourced contexts and to capturing and disseminating lessons learned from our collective efforts. To accomplish this goal, the Bridgeway Group works with individuals and organizations, offering training in negotiation, communication, and peacebuilding skills. The Bridgeway Group strives to provide best practice through coaching, strategic advice, and innovative tools, designed to help transform the negotiation and conflict management cultures of those with whom we work.

Leveraging Experience and Knowledge to Benefit the Boston Community:
The Bridgeway Group’s current project is a partnership with the United Nations Association of Greater Boston (UNAGB) to put some of the conflict resolution expertise honed around the world into service in our own neighborhood. The Bridgeway Group has worked extensively developing negotiation training courses, curricula, and expertise in conflict-affected communities in the international context. Through the partnership with UNAGB, this latest project will target Boston area middle and high schools, bringing these skills to bear locally. The Bridgeway Group will use its wide-ranging expertise and experience to create a negotiation curriculum for youth that will accompany the Model UN program provided by UNAGB. The current UNAGB program provides individual teachers and schools in the community with the opportunity to expose their pupils to larger world issues and the skills that real-world practitioners will use facing these issues. The program Bridgeway is developing will augment and enrich this through a focus on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), Peace Education, and conflict resolution techniques.
