The Union des jeunes Musulmans de Centrafrique (UJMCA - Union of Young Muslims of CAR) aims to promote education, solidarity and good health among young Muslims in the community, as well as cultural exchanges between Muslims and non-Muslims. It creates opportunities to bridge Muslim and non-Muslim communities, with a specific focus on youth.

UJMCA has run several outreach and awareness-raising campaigns around social cohesion and peace, with one project in particular aiming to rebuild social cohesion in a district of Bangui. It has worked with over 500 people since it began, and thanks to this project the district is a good example of Christian-Muslim cohesion in the capital. It increasingly counts young Christians among its members, who work together to show to the community that there can be peace for all. Thanks to their work around 300 Muslims have been able to return to their communities after having fled to Cameroon.
