Vanguard for Peace and Democracy as an organization was brought together, trained and supported by Strategy Empowerment and Mediation Agency (SEMA) for the purposed of peace and democracy building in our society. We have embarked and have ongoing projects undertaking advocacy visit, sensitization seminar/workshop and town hall meetings to stakeholders, women and youth groups in our society.

Our projects have included organizing advocacy visit to youth, women and men group including stakeholders in the society to seek for their support and cooperation towards bringing peace in our society. Vanguard has also established successful sensitization workshop to disseminate knowledge acquired to youth leaders, educating and enlighten them of the need to embrace peace and participate in democracy processes in the state. Finally we have also organized town Hall meetings to further meet with youth leaders from various ward, and villages to discus and strengthen our campaigns for peaceful coexistence.
