Ye Ti Maboko Ti Mon Si (Count on Yourself) aims to empower women in CAR. With nine employees and around 100 volunteers, it brings women together and helps them create businesses and agricultural projects in order to generate and save money, launch new projects and provide other young women with support and mentoring.
During the current conflict in CAR, Ye Ti Maboko Ti Mon Si has worked on reintegrating women into society and engaging them on issues including social cohesion, supporting female victims of violence and women who lost children during the conflict. Since 2012 it has worked with more than 200 women and girls.
