Danny Pavitt is currently a master’s degree candidate at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA, studying international policy and development with a focus in conflict studies. He has conducted research in Chile, Colombia and Argentina centred on the intersection between environmental protection, conflict resolution and transitional justice. Danny is currently researching ways that the protection of the biodiversity in Colombia can support social cohesion in the Colombian reintegration process, in order to support the national peace accords.
