Janjira Sombatpoonsiri is a lecturer in International Relations and Conflict Studies at Bangkok’s Thammasat University. She also serves as co-Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Peace Research Association (APPRA). Her latest publication is Humor and Nonviolent Struggle in Serbia (New York: Syracuse University Press, 2015).
