Muhyadin is a researcher on issues related to peacebuilding and conflict resolution for the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Hargeisa, Somliland. Muhyadin currently lives in Hargeisa, Somaliland. He is interested in peacebuilding issues including, among others, trauma healing, local mediation/traditional ways of peace building, DDR/SSR, role of women in consolidating peace, development and peace, and grassroots peace building.
