Nerea Bilbatua

Nerea Bilbatua is a Peace Historian at the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies (CPCS), a Cambodian-based organisation whose mission is to strengthen strategic intervention into violent conflict with the overall aim of fostering sustainable peace in the Asia region. Having been based in South East Asia for close to a decade, Nerea has previously worked with Conciliation Resources as a gender adviser for the Philippines and Colombia programmes. She holds a degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the Complutense University (Spain) and a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratisation from the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC).
