Vicky has recently completed an MSc at SOAS in Violence, Conflict and Development and has an MA from Edinburgh University in Social Anthropology. She is particularly interested in the impact of gender-sensitive post-conflict interventions and how effectively they prevent sexual and gender-based violence. She hopes to explore the troubling issues of accelerated human trafficking and forced prostitution in post-conflict environments. Vicky is beginning work as the Assistant Manager at the Baale Mane, a home for 65 girls in Bangalore, India, where she hopes to continue writing about these issues with fresh insight.
