Yeshim Harris is the Co-founder and Director of Engi, a social enterprise that focuses on the effective management of conflict, nationally and internationally. She is well versed in the Cyprus conflict and has initiated peace-building projects on the island. She is well known to the islanders and her neutrality and sensitive approach to the Cyprus problem has received praise by both communities. Apart from her various peace-building initiatives she has also advised the UK Foreign Office, UK parliamentarians and to several NGOs. Yeshim has a Master’s degree in EU and development aid programmes; a Certificate of Mediation and Peacemaking in Complex Conflicts and a Diploma in Conflict Resolution and facilitation.
