The Center for Peace is the dedicated outreach department of the Islamic Society of Central Florida (ISCF) that educates and informs about the true message of Islam and the Muslim community.

 

The Center for Peace was initially founded to respond to the need for accurate information about Islam and Muslims after the tragedies of September 11, 2001.

 

The objective of the Center for Peace is to facilitate and coordinate outreach efforts in the Central Florida community by promoting understanding and acceptance among people of all faiths and all ethnicities.  We are dedicated to fulfilling our responsibility and inviting people to learn about the accurate message of Islam and the Muslim community through outreach and inter-faith pursuits, while learning about our neighbors and friends.

 

We give tours of our institute to dignitaries from around the world as well as to high school students. This is to help educate others on different cultures and ways the community can be helped.

 

We constantly strive to work with local organizations and help charities in our area and across the nation.

 

The Center for Peace hosts a travel abroad trip each year in an effort to educate our community on culture and coming together as one.
