The NGO IDP Ukraine was created by activists from Crimea and Donbass, people living in conflict areas, and  volunteers who intends to build peace in the community. The foundation advocates for human rights protection and supports families and children. Its programmes are designed to provide support through humanitarian centres, legal aid, economic projects.

Main activities include

• Socio-psychological support (4378 IDP families requested psychological support and 420 families of combatants; 150 children traveled to summer rehabilitation camps in Austria and Poland).
• Child development work.

The programme includes art school (arts and craft classes, singing, theatre studios) that was attended by 5500 children. Educational programmes (3800 children and adults) offer English, mathematics and other classes. 600 teenagers have participated in personal development trainings.

• Interregional cooperation with child protection agencies (including offering retreats for 4346 IDP children from conflict area)
• Adaption of IDPs through social events, masterclasses, and education programmes. More than 15,000 children and adults participated in these activities. 63 partner organisations offer free space for the classes (museums, theaters, etc).
• In 2015 4,365 children participated in summer rehabilitation camps.
• Humanitarian aid. Almost 6000 vulnerable people received support including medicine, blankets, clothes, and shoes.
• Medical support. The most vulnerable groups received free access to medicines (more than 2,000 IDP families and more than 60 combatant families received flu medicines), free medical checking (about 1,000 IDPs), wheelchairs (300 people with disabilities). 430 IDP children have had free general medical checks since June 2015

Social festivals aimed at social cohesion, peacebuilding, IDP and host community integration. More than 5,000 children received tickets for New Year events in 2015. “Family cycle” festival includes master classes, musical concerts, food court, psychosocial consultations, sport area, book zone etc. The NGO has also organised a charitable fair ‘Children to children,' where hand made things from children were sold and the collected money was donated to children with cancer from Western Ukraine.
