The Pyi Duang Su Institute for Peace and Dialogue was founded in 2013 with the purpose of providing research and documentation support to all stakeholders involved in the peace process and political transition in Myanmar. Its overall aim is to build a just, democratic and pluralistic society.
Pyi Duang Su plans to begin working with armed ethnic organisations, political parties and civil society organisations, as well as government and government-affiliated agencies and the international community, to achieve lasting peace in Burma/Myanmar. Pyi Duang Su will be working to support them during the three stages of negotiations (Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement, Framework for Political Dialogue, and Political Dialogue) as agreed upon by both sides.
