Synergie des Femmes pour la Paix et la Reconciliation des Peuples des Grands Lacs d’Afrique is a network of 37 human rights organisations in the Great Lakes region of Africa (Eastern DR Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi). The network was created in 2005 as a sub-regional initiative of the Pax Christi Great Lakes Network to use the potential of women in the region to build peace and promote of women's rights, leadership, and empowerment.
