MUCABI - 1

Mulapnen Capacity Building Initiative exists to provide essential security educational services, community awareness and training to increase knowledge and understanding of the root causes of mass atrocities and prevention strategies for the healing of communities in Nigeria.

Mulapnen Capacity Building Initiative envisions communities of compassionate, loving, peaceful, trusting and caring youths, socializing across boundaries of race, tradition, tribe, and religious affiliations, respecting and honoring our common human dignity and the sanctity of life.

Mulapnen Capacity Building Initiative (MUCABI) is a Jos, Nigeria-based Cooperation Circle (CC) of United Religions Initiative (URI)-an international grassroots interfaith peacebuilding Network. MUCABI is Winner, URI West Africa Mini Grant Support Program 2020.

Our Programs

Dialogue and Mediation Training

MUCABI offers both online and offline training on Dialogue, Negotiation and Mediation skills for officers of the Nigeria Police and Civil Defense Corps to build their capacities for effective service delivery. Over 350 officers have benefited in the online training of MUCABI

Through this program, MUCABI partners Bege Foundation and TRI-Center on a one day capacity building on mediation skill for the officers. Over 25 officers were in attendance

Leadership and Governance

Leadership plays an important role in the workplace as well as other community organizations. Our Leadership and Governance Program helps individuals learn important skills to be effective leaders and to promote the growth and development, foster better communication in the workplace and develop team cohesion.

Through this program, MUCABI trains over 50 neighborhoods and community leaders

Justice, Security & Peace Education

MUCABI organize Lectures on criminal justice to share knowledge on global best policing to improve the relationship of the law enforcement agencies and the general public for better output to improve security of life and property.

Through this program MUCABI brings security agents, community leaders, members of Judiciary and public prosecution department as audience.

Life Sustainability Program

Our Life Sustainability Program provides the incentive for individuals to become more sustainable in their own personal life. Areas covered include energy savings, water consumption, waste reduction, transportation use, food choices and consumer purchases. The program helps participants, to among other things, understand personal behaviors and lifestyle and the relation to environmental impacts, including personal health and well-being of environmental impacts and consumerism. Over 150 people have benefited from this program.
