Stand For Peace Initiative is a Non-governmental Organization founded in 2016 by Amb. Nworisa Michael following what could be said to be reprisal conflicts in Nigeria. Conflicts which are often tribal or religiously ignited, also the misconception regarding these two factors(Tribe & Religion) has proven to be the primary cause of Nigeria's under development state.

At Stand For Peace Initiative we hope to bring about lasting peace in Nigeria by first engaging the youths who are often used to perpetuate and carryout all forms of social vices, by making them advocates of peace.

Stand For Peace Initiative is registered with the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Youths & Sports. We also enagage in Advocacy, creating awareness on issues of national concern, most primarily is our regular Peace Talks at secondary school levels, and at religious gatherings.

Stand For Peace Initiative is a registered partner organization of Future Leaders Network, an international youth organization head quartered in Bagladash and has about 57 member Nations focused on the United Nations sustainable development goals. And also a member of Kano State Civil Society Forum (KSCF).
