Unique Centre for Peacebuilding and Trauma Healing (UCPT) was founded in 2013 with a goal of building peace and healing trauma in Nigeria.

As an organization, UCPT have worked on different projects like Strengthening Interfaith Voices Against Hate Speech (SIVAH), a project that was funded by King Abdullah Bin Abdullaziz international centre for inter religious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID), Vienna, Austria.in 2018 and 2019. We have also Implemented a project on Inter-faith Peace Dialogue and Cultural Re-orientation in 2020 supported by KAICIID, Implemented another project Women Empowerment Project in Biliri, Gombe,2021 to 2022 supported by Development Exchange Centre (DEC) Bauchi State. Currently, Implementing a Project on Protection of Religious Sites in Zangon Kataf LGA of Kaduna State supported by Dialogue Centre (KAICIID), Austria.

UCPT have Consulted for Equal Access International, Humanitarian Dialogue Centre,Plateau State Peace building Agency.Centre for Community Actions for peace and Development(CCAPAD). International Center for Interfaith, Peace and Harmony (ICIPH), Kaduna, Management and peace Studies (CECOMPS), University of Jos, Peace Training Centre (PTC) , BEGE Foundation, Islamic Council Initiative of Nigeria (ICIN),We have also trained Common on Conflict Sensitivity and Do No Harm win Katsina State, Nigeria.,UCPT have also trained alot of people on Trauma Healing including internally displaced persons (IDPs) Plateau and Kaduna State. UCPT Have also worked in the following areas, Forgiveness and Reconciliation, Hate Speech and Social Media., Alternatives to violence Project; Do no harm, Early warning and Early response, Peace clubs, Peace Education, Dialogue and Mediation, Peace and Security, human right and advocacy, Children and youth. Women, Peace and Security & Gender Mainstreaming.
