Zimbabwe Young Women's Network for Peace Building (ZYWNP) is a feminist organisation established in 2008, with a mandate to promote young women's meaningful contribution to peacebuilding and curbing violence. ZWYNP believes in the strength of networking and works collaboratively with other organisations of all facets - to achieve its purpose of peacebuilding. 

Since its establishment ZYWNP has worked with young women aged between 15 and 35 from diverse backgrounds. In communities where the organisation works, cluster leaders are responsible for community mobilisation, facilitating workshops and writing feedback reports. ZYWNP has 24 cluster leaders across the provinces of Highfields, Mutoko, Murehwa and Buhera. 

Activities and partnerships

• The organisation works in partnership with Action Aid Zimbabwe around gender responsive public service delivery, where young women are coming together to hold their local government and corporates accountable and demand for access to quality public services and effective participation in the decision making process. 
• The organisation also works with the Media Institute of Southern Africa Zimbabwe around young women's access to information in Mutoko to enable them to make meaningful contributions to and gainfully participate in information gathering and dissemination. 
• In January 2016, ZYWNP participated in the Young Women in Economic Empowerment and Conflict Transformation Training funded by UN women. It was a gender peace and security project aimed at building young women's entrepreneurial skills to enable them to participate in economic activities and opportunities using digital and technological skills. 
• In 2011, Zimbabwe Young Women's Network for Peace Building also produced a documentary entitled 'Misused and Abused'. It was produced to bring light to the realities of women as victims of violence and abuse, springing from religious and traditional practices. 
• ZYWNP also engaged in the Taura Young Women's Conference, which provided an opportunity for young women to share ideas on what systems can be put in place to ensure continuous dialogue between themselves and their local authorities.
